Right foot in front of the left

Do not go backwards

Or question what will

Lead you in the direction

Of peace for your soul

A brief time ago

You heard a cry from within

A soft, tender call

To speak to pain, an

Inner need whose time had come

You heard, and listened

You honored the call

Your heart in need of healing

Your spirit, repair

Maybe you were scared

Or laden with guilt for your

Actions, or your sloth

No force could quiet

The innate sound heard briefly

A call to action

To save the real you

A being of hope, of light

You were born to be

Before the darkness

Of the world became your God

And eclipsed the sun

Awaken the voice

An inner call for healing

New light to guide you

Listen for that call

A clarifying glow that

Leads you to step two.
