My brilliance reborn,

I’m seeing myself anew.

Casting the label

Which has defined me.

Trapping me in my own eyes,

And in other’s eyes.

My story has a

New writer. Her prose like a

Butterfly born, and

A snake, shedding its

Well-worn skin, symbolizing

Life’s duality.

To find meaning in

The sunrise and the sunset,

The joys and sorrows

Knowing that to learn

What both may teach, we need first

To accept the last.

Know, each step in life’s

Journey was essential to

Carry us too now

My brilliance: Reborn

On a vista of hope and

A love born of light.
